Wildland Training Fire

On Saturday February 11th, Waxhaw Volunteers along with members from Wesley Chapel VFD and the North Carolina Forest Service conducted “Live-Fire Training” on wildland fires and controlled burns. This unique training opportunity allowed members to work on their skills of wildland suppression, brush & vegetation management and building fire lines. A special thank you to the NC Forest Service – Union County Office for providing excellent training and the opportunity to work around Dozer 12X2.
