Training Fire – Howie Mine Road

Waxhaw Volunteers along with members from Wesley Chapel VFD participated in “Live-Fire” Training on Saturday, March 4th. Members from both departments participated in ventilation techniques as well as various hand-tool applications. This training was a great opportunity for new members and junior members to learn more about techniques and fire behavior. A special thank you to the Waxhaw VFD Ladies Auxiliary for providing rehab services and lunch for everyone. Also, thank you to the Waxhaw Police Department Explorer Program for providing traffic control on Howie Mine Road during the training.
